MRS. JULIA ELGIN DIES AT AGE OF 48
Mrs. Julia Elgin, 48 years old, resident of Rockford for ten years and former resident of Sterling, died Tuesday night at 11 o'clock at her home here, 1220 Green st., after a lingering illness.
She was born November 27, 1878 in Hagerstown, Md. Surviving her are Sterling, Mrs. Walter Blakesley, Mrs. B. Frisinger of Rockford, and Gertrude, Pauline and Raymond Elgin, all at home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the home, the Rev. H. M. Bannen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery at Sterling.
