Born in Foraker, Ky., on July 27, 1935, Dorothy was a cherished daughter of Chester and Susie Craft Arnett. As one of nine children, she shared her childhood with three sisters and five brothers. On June 10, 1956, in Perrysburg, Dorothy married the love of her life and best friend, Virgil L. Bryant. They shared 47 years of life's adventures. From their union came three wonderful children, Treina, Gary and Todd. The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of three grandchildren.
With a strong work ethic,
Dorothy was a supervisor at Hart Schaffner & Marx for more than 45 years. She later worked with her family at Bryant Ice Service. More recently, Dorothy assisted her niece Lisa in the kitchen of the Streamliner Family Restaurant. To relax Dorothy enjoyed visiting her family in Arizona and Florida during the winter months. She took great pride with mowing and manicuring her yard and maintained beautiful flower gardens that enhanced her home's landscape. As a grandma she adored Ashley, Shelby and Brady and was proud of their many accomplishments.
Left to cherish Dorothy's memory are a daughter, Treina Bradley and husband Ron, Rochester; two sons, Gary Bryant and wife Chris, Rochester; Todd Bryant and companion Trina Buben, Glendale, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Ashley Bradley-Witzberger and wife Jeffri Witzberger, Shelby Bryant, Brady Bryant; three sisters, Helen Horn, Gloria Calhoun and husband Larry, Barbara Swank and husband Jim, all of Rochester; a sister-in-law, Carol Arnett, Argos; four brothers, Hoy Arnett, Lady Lake, Fla., Don Arnett and wife Pat, Memphis, Tenn., Ronnie Arnett and wife Jenelle of West Virginia, Wayne Arnett and companion Doris Lewis, Rochester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
