Ada was the daughter of Curtis Lincoln Cooper and Grace Annette (Chapman) Cooper. She first married C. Baxter. They had a son Everett Raymond Baxter. She divorced Mr. Baxter by the 1910 census. She was married to Everal Stout by the 1920 census. Her son died in 1924 from drowning. In the 1930 census she was also living with her father and stepmother. She died at Fort Steilacoom in Western State Hospital from Alzheimer's disease.
