Lola was the daughter of James C. Pittman and Sarah Ann (Payne) Pittman. She had 5 sisters, Sarah, Argolia, Etta, Alta and Carrie and 1 brother Elmer. She was married to Noble G. Young. They had 2 children Harold and Joy Lee. She married John L. MacKay in 1950 in Chicago, Il. and they moved to Onieda Tn. to open MacKay's restaurant. They ran the restaurant for 11 years but even after it closed they walked down the path from their home and opened the door to friends and family who stopped by to eat. She is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lola was a wonderful, warm, friendly, funny woman who made you happy to be near her.
