Mary Annette Schroeder Bramblett
Mrs. Mary Annette Schroeder Bramblett, age 63, of Cumming passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007.
An Atlanta native, born Jan. 19, 1944, to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert C. Schroeder, she resided in Atlanta until 1968, when she moved to Cumming. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dr. Rupert H. Bramblett, physician of Forsyth County.
Annette graduated from Southwest High School in Atlanta in 1961, received a B.A. from Oglethorpe University in 1965, a Master of Education from Georgia State University in 1970, and a Specialist in Education from Georgia State in 1973.
Having taught school for 30 years, she retired from Sawnee Elementary in 1995 and subsequently served as a leader in the Historical Society of Forsyth County and the Forsyth County Retired Educators Association.
She is survived by step-son and step-daughter-in-law; step-daughters and step-sons-in-law; eight step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; and special friend. (Names of survivors omitted for privacy)
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 20, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Orr, Dr. Dan Armistead, the Rev. Don Westray, the Rev. Rubin Smith and the Rev. Harvey Langley officiating.
Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
