ABINGTON--Services for Billy Ray Hicks, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hicks, R.R. 1, Centerville, who was shot in the chest Wednesday afternoon, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Welfer-Mills Funeral Home at Centerville.
Rev. Andrew Bradford of the Milton United Methodist Church will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
He was shot while he and William Earl Harness, 20, so of Mr. and Mrs. William Morton Harness, also R.R. 1, Centerville, were looking at a shotgun in the Harness home.
Memorial contributions to the Billy Ray Hicks Memorial Fund may be made to Kenneth McWhorter, assistant elementary principal at the Abington School Donations will be accepted through May 21.
