Obituary:
Guy C. Graves, 73, 1016 59th St., died at the Kenosha Hospital Wednesday morning following a long illness.
He was born Oct. 13, 1886, in Antwerp, Ohio, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Graves. He spent his early childhood there, coming to Kenosha to live in 1908. He operated his own grocery store for many years, and later worked at Kemper Hall before his retirement in 1944.
On Nov. 25, 1908, in Kenosha, he married Miss Carrie Nielsen. He was a member of the First Christian church.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Chris VanDaalwyk, Kenosha; one brother, Glenn, Santa Ana, Calif.; one sister, Miss Flossie Graves, Waukegan, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, three sons, and one daughter.
