Sgt. Hugh Thorson and Sumner Bailey, petty officer second class, brothers-in-law, met recently somewhere in the Marianna [sic - probably should be Marianas] islands, where they are both stationed, according to word received here by relatives.
Thorson, son of Dr. and Mrs. A. R. Thorson, 517 Baltimore street, has been overseas 17 months with a radar intelligence signal corps unit. His wife, who is employed in Ft. Ord, Cal., is a sister of Bailey.
Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Bailey, 1806 Forest avenue, has been based in the Pacific 13 months.
