Justin Michael Buffum, 33, Kokomo, went to be with our Lord at 5:33 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1982, to Michael and Susan Buffum.
Justin graduated from Maconaquah High school. Upon graduation, he began working at Chrysler. Justin loved music and guitars. He was a collector of many things, including baseball cards and Hot Wheels, but most of all sunglasses. Those that knew Justin knew his sense of style - always expecting him to be well dressed, matching from his head down to his shoe strings ... literally.
Surviving Justin is his mother, Susan Buffum (Kevin Scott); grandmother, Betty Elliott; grandfather, Harold Buffum; brother, Adam Buffum (Teri Melton) and Stephen Gimmey, who was like a little brother to Justin; nieces, Natanha and Taylor Clark; many aunts, uncles and cousins; the love of his life, which is his daughter, Makia Maree Turley, who was his world; nephew, Kristian, who was like a son to him; his closest friends, David and Stan; and many other best friends.
Preceding him in death are his father, Michael; grandfather, Kenneth Haddox; and grandmother, Aileen Buffum.
Funeral services for Justin will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo, with Rev. James Trippett officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
