Mrs. Lucy Mae Pardue Caudill, 75, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Caudill was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Alleghany County to James Ernest and Callie Ayers Pardue. Mrs. Caudill was retired from K&W Cafeteria with 10 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James, of the home; a daughter, Patricia Ann Caudill of Winston-Salem; four sons, James E. Caudill (Janie) of Pfafftown, Robert Dale Caudill (Karen) of Kernersville, Paul Caudill (Rhonda) of Germanton and Jerry Caudill (Debra) of Kernersville; and five grandchildren, Robert Dale Caudill Jr., Jerry Wayne Caudill Jr., Christina Marie Caudill, Alyssa Brooke Caudill and Thomas James Caudill. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 19, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with the Rev. Darrell Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Jan. 18, at the funeral home.
