Justin Adolph Blomquist, 87, of Stuart, died of pneumonia Dec. 7, 1995 at the Guthrie County Memorial Hospital. Services were held Dec. 11 at the United Methodist Church in Dexter with burial in Dexter Cemetery.

He was born March 2, 1908 near Holdrege, Nebraska to Andrew John and Ullma Sophia (Lundvall) Blomquist. He moved to a farm south of Stuart in 1916 where he lived until he was an adult. He married Vera Naomi Lee on March 11, 1932 in Dexter. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Stuart the past four years, before that he lived in Earlham for nine years and Dexter for 47 years. He was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church and the Madison County Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include his wife of Stuart; one daughter, Sandra Rogers of Dexter; two brothers, Milford and Raymond Blomquist, both of Stuart; one sister, Vera Marlenee of Adel; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be given to Dexter Methodist Church.
