OBITUARY
SARAH DEAL was the daughter of
Benjamin and Susuan Britton, was
born Oct. 23, 1844, departed this life
at the home of her youngest son, James
A. Deal, December 10, 1927, aged 83 years,
1 month and 17 days. She was united
in marriage to Harrison Deal March
12, 1866 having lived together 61 years
and 9 months. To this union were born
6 children, Jalma H. who resides near
Meeker, George W. and James A. of
Marion, Mrs. C. H. Byers of Wads-
worth, O. Ten grandchildren, 5 girls
and 5 boys, survive. Two daughters,
Mrs. Cora Sloat and Minnie Geraldine
preceded her in death. She was a mem-
ber of the Methodist church for over 50
years. She was a kind, accommodating
neighbor, a devoted wife and mother,
spending the greater part of her life in
the care of her home and family. She
was always ready to administer to her
children for their comfort and happi-
ness. She lived a devoted, consistent,
Christian life till her Heavenly Father
called her home.
