Calvin Krueger, 81 of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Aug. 4, 2006, at the Lake of the Ozarks. Calvin was born July 23, 1925, the son of Carl E. and Enid (Elliott) Krueger.

He married Virginia Lea Timms on April 22, 1950 at Jackson Co., MO.

He graduated from Northeast High School and also William Jewell College.

He was a World War II Navy veteran.

He worked for Butler Manufacturing for 35 years, retiring in 1985.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs.

He enjoyed going to the Lake of the Ozarks, woodworking and building houses for more than 20 years.

His survivors include his wife, Virginia Krueger of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Lois Krueger of Blue Springs, MO; Gary and Denise Krueger of Lee's Summit, MO; and Calvin Eric and Gayle Krueger of Naples, FL; one daughter, Carole Kessler of Leawood, KS; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be Aug. 8, at the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb-Freer Funeral Home, Blue Springs.
