SOUTH, Kay A., age 93 of Dayton, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was born July 22, 1922 in Greenburg, KY. Kay retired from Delco Products in 1977 after 31 years of service. She was an avid quilt maker and enjoyed embroidery work.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Marty) Nelson; son, Joseph South; granddaughter, Judy (Jeff) Aldrich; 3 great-grandchildren, Cody Malott, Durban Aldrich and London Aldrich; sister, Margaret (Walt) Steinway; brother, Dewey Acree; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Belford R. South.
A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Friday, January 8, 2016 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr., at N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415. Interment Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-12 PM Friday, January 8, 2016 at the funeral home.
