Catherine “Kay” Pohler, age 93, of Hudsonville, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 05, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Pohler; her siblings, Harold, Alvin, Marian, Louise.
She is survived by her children, Linda Blodgett, Ken and Ruth Pohler, Shirley and Steve DeBruine; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Lisa and Dan Lyons (Nick and Hailey Jansen, Stephen and Michaela Lyons), Mike and Tina Blodgett (Ryan and Justin), Matthew Blodgett, Steve, Jeff, Kati Pohler, Kelly and DJ Finch, Kyle, Randy, Mitchell DeBruine, Allie Pohler; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence Pohler, Don and Annette Bronkema, Clara VandenBerg.
Funeral services for Catherine will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Hudsonville with Rev. Bob Huisman officiating. Interment Zutphen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the VanderLaan Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Forgotten Man Ministries or Faith Hospice.
