Minnie died at St. Lukes Hospital on November 14, 1950 and was buried in Oak Shade Cemetery next to her husbands grave after having lived 60 years in the community.

Former Marion Resident Dies
Many relatives and friends attended the funeral of Mrs. Minnie Alma Fahl of Cedar Rapids last Tuesday. Mrs. Fahl was a former Marion Resident.
She was born Aug. 22, 1876, in Stockholm, Sweden.
Surviving are three daughters, Edna, at home; Mrs. Fred Wenke of Thurman and Mrs. Willis Lyon of Nevada, Ia.; three sons, Robert, Richard and Ralph of Cedar Rapids; six sisters, Mrs. Edith Gordon and Mrs. Lottie Benedict, both of Marion; Mrs. Fred Putnam of Spokane, Mrs. Bert Maynes of Hollywood, Mrs. Earl Johnson and Mrs. Les Collins, both of Lawnsdale, Calif; two brothers, Arthur Hanson of Marion and Halgie Hanson of North Hollywood; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, an infant son, Raymond, and a sister, Mrs. Clyde Carsner of Marion. Burial was in Oak Shade cemetery.
