Edith Jane Stout, 86 of Porum passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born on December 19, 1929 in Henryetta to H.B. and Inez (Morgan) Williamson. She grew up in Porum where she received her education. After graduation she married Jack Stout and they moved to Tulsa where she began a career with Tulsa Public Schools as a Custodian. She was very active in church activities as a Bible School Teacher, before returning to Porum in the 1980’s to enjoy retirement. She will always be remembered as loving to paint, sew, quilt, and studying the Bible. She is preceded in death by her parents, H.B. and Inez Williamson; her husband, Jack Stout; a daughter, Jacque Ray; a son, Jimmy Stout; two sisters, Clara, and Jo Betty. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 7, 2015 at Coleman Cemetery. Burial will immediately follow under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
