Monna Roxie Judy, 94, of Smith Creek Road, Franklin, W.Va., died Sept. 6, 1990, at her home of an apparent heart attack.

She was born June 3, 1896, at Oscela, W.Va., and was a daughter of the late Adam and Sarah Jane Nelson Sponaugle.

Mrs. Judy was a member of Smith Creek Church of the Brethren.

On July 4, 1914, she married Earlie Thomas Judy, who died March 4, 1978.

Surviving are four daughters, Ethel Hall and Bernice Fortner, both of Fairmont, W.Va., Ina Kuehl of Pinehurst, N.C., and Patricia Sponaugle of Cleveland; five sons, Kermit Judy of Franklin, W.Va., Richard Judy of Strasburg, Gayle Judy of Luray, Earl Judy Jr. of Castleton, and Gary Judy of Lexington; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Smith Creek Church of the Brethren near Franklin.

The Revs. Max Fisher and Charles Comer will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Judy Family Cemetery on Smith Creek.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
