Also surviving are one son, Gary Reid Godfrey of Danville, Va.; two sisters, June Carol Rollins of Gaffney and Elizabeth Sue Head of Lyman; two grandchildren; and two adopted grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Wood-lawn Baptist Church in Conover with the Rev. Andrew Young officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Catawba Memorial Park Cemetery in Hickory.
