Mary Christine Booth Baker was born on June 18, 1925 to Jep Roe and Elvie Gena Booth in Magnolia, AR and passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 in Haynesville, LA.
She was a resident of Springhill for 55 years and was a retired inspector of the LAAP in Minden, LA with 37 years of service. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Rester and husband, John of Springhill, LA; three sons, Mike E. Baker and wife, Sandy of Springhill, LA; Darrell Baker and wife, Janet of Cotton Valley, LA and Gary Baker of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren, Holley Sanders and husband, Keith; Michael "Mike" Baker and wife, Hollie; Josh Baker and wife, Mindy; Dustin Baker and wife, Sara; Matt Rester and Ryan Rester; sixteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin G. Baker on November 20, 1984; her parents and brother, Hugh Booth.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Springhill, LA where she was a faithful member, with Rev. Ronald Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch East Cemetery, Magnolia, AR.
