Chester Solomon Deffenbaugh, 57, of Miranda died Tuesday at his home. He was a member of the Miranda Community Church. He was the husband of the late Rosamond Deffenbaugh who died in August of 1954. He is survived by a son, Dale C. Deffenbaugh of San Jose, a number of other relatives in San Jose and in the East.
Friends may call at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary until 3 p.m. today.
The remains will be shipped to Amos O. Williams Mortuary in San Jose for funeral services Saturday. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Memorial Park.
