Sally died on July 12, 1909 at Lawrence County, SD, according to the South Dakota Death Index available through ancestry.com. Her remains were shipped to Missouri, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Henry Leppla [Adelle Amanda "Della" (Ralph) Leppla]. Sally wished to be laid at rest at her old home in Missouri. Source: page 8, col. 3, of The Queen City Mail, Spearfish, SD, dated November 17, 1909, available at newspapers.com. It is likely that she would have been buried at the same cemetery where her parents and two of her siblings, William and Maud, were buried; and her brother-in-law, Zaza Ralph, was buried; Richmond Cemetery in Ray County, Missouri. Richmond, Missouri is the town where she grew up.

In 1911 when Sally's husband, Dr. Erasmus Darwin Ralph, died, his remains were shipped to Richmond, Missouri, accompanied by his daughter, Della (Ralph) Leppla, to be interred at the same cemetery as his wife.
