Nell G. Potter, 99, formerly of Emmaus and Ambler, died Sept. 23, 2007 in Phoebe Home. She was the widow of the late O. W. Potter. Born in Leitchfield, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Elta (Stone) Gardner. She was a graduate of the University of Colorado, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She worked in Washington, D.C. as a secretary for Kentucky Senator Logan in the 1930s and later was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Allentown. She previously taught Sunday school and played the piano at Calvary Baptist Church, Norristown.
