Body Shipped Here for Burial
The body of Mrs. Rosalia Anderegg was brought here [Lockwood, Missouri,] Tuesday morning from her home at Menard, Texas, for burial in the [Immanuel] Lutheran Cemetery. The remains were accompanied here by the husband of the deceased, and were taken to the home of Henry Bartling and family. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon and the burial was beside the grave of Frank Rudoff, father of the deceased, at the Lutheran cemetery. The funeral sermon was delivered in English by Rev. Geo. Mueller, the local pastor.
Mrs. Anderegg was born December 25th, 1877, and died April 14th, 1918, at a local [Texas] hospital, after an illness of ten weeks caused from pneumonia and complications. She was a sister of A. Rudoff, formerly of Lockwood, and during the latter's residence here visited he and his wife a number of different times. She will be remembered here by many friends.
The deceased is survived by her husband, her mother, and one brother, A. Rudoff, of Detroit, MIch. The mother, who makes her home with her son, was unable to make the trip here from Detroit on account of ill health. (Lockwood Luminary, Lockwood, Missouri, Apr 19, 1918
