FRANK W. BAXA
Frank W. Baxa, son of Mathias and Frances Baxa, was born September 12, 1889, near Cuba, Kan. and died April 17, 1971 at the Republic County Hospital at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 6 days.
On November 12, 1912, he married Rose Rizek, they had two children, Rose Mary, and Francis.
He was a charter member of the St. Edwards Catholic Church, The Catholic Workman and a charter member of Knights of Columbus Countil 2609, Belleville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rose, four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his daughter Rose Mary and her husband Henry Chopp, Munden, Kan., and his son Francis and his wife Pauline of Belleville, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral Mass was offered by Father Maurice Dion and Father Raymond Pachta April 20, 1971 from St. Edwards Church with burial in St. Katharines Cemetery.
