Illness caused an eight month stay in North Florida Rehab facility. There “Ole Joe”, the cowboy and bullrider, rode on to his eternal rest on December 19, 2015.
Preceding in death are mother, Emma E. Adams; father, Morris W. Adams; brother Ray M. Adams; and sister Mary Jane Pettigrew. Survivors are brother Robert E. Adams of Denton, Texas; and sister Emma Jeannette Chickering of Trenton and many caring friends.
Joe was put to rest in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, December 22, 2015. Officiating was Pastor Don L. Lunsford. Burial was conducted by Knauff Funeral Home.
