Fort Bend Herald, December 30, 2015:

Stacye E. Azbell, 83, of West Columbia, passed away in Lake Jackson on December 28, 2015. She was born in Electra, Texas to James M. and Velma Wright on September 1, 1932. Stacye taught school in West Columbia for many years.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at 11:00 am at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia, with Rev. Buddy Dudley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am until service time. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Menard and husband, Larry, Thomas Azbell and wife, Lynnda, Michael Azbell and wife, Janice, Cynthia Azbell-Preas, Jim Azbell and wife, Mishelle; grandchildren, Kris Corbell Bellard, Chad Gifford, Jenna Gifford Whitten, Kathy, Josh, and Adam Azbell, Holly Janak, Paige and Annie Preas, Harrison and Hannah Azbell; brothers, Robert and Minus Wright; 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
