Kenneth Wayne Ables finished his earthly journey on November 25th 2015 and went to be with our Father in Heaven. He was born on Oct 7th 1936 in Hollis Oklahoma to Hurley Steven and Nettie Virginia Ables.

Kenneth served his nation in the Navy for 26 years as a submariner and later a regional recruiter for south Texas. After retiring from the Navy he took up another highly successful career as a building construction inspector for the University of Texas System for 17 years reporting directly to the Chancellor. He oversaw construction of work on M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and the UT Health & Science Center at the medical center in San Antonio among other significant projects. His entire careers in both the military and civilian life were acknowledged with advancements and awards. He truly loved both endeavors.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, three children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his only sister Linda and one aunt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
