Mrs. ROSE MATHIAS KRISE, widow of Charles H. Krise, died at her home, South Market street, Sunday morning after an illness of 12 weeks. She was a daughter of the late Philip and Eleanor Stimmell Mathias and was born in Creagerstown.
She is survived by one son, Wilbur M. Krise, Martinsburg, WV; five sisters, Mrs. J.W. Stockwell, Philadelphia; Mrs. I.W. Loy, Thurmont; Mrs. Abba C. Snively, Mt. Vernon, NY; Mrs. C. Newton Thomas, Frederick; Mrs. Etta M. Hartsock, this city; brother, Park G. Mathias, Hagerstown; and one granddaughter, Miss Harriett Rose Krise.
Funeral services were at the late home; interment was in Mt. Olivet cemetery; M.R. Etchison and Son were the funeral directors.
