Beulah Aldridge Triplett
Ms. Beulah Aldridge Triplett, 56, of Lenoir, a native and former resident of Watauga County, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Gateway Nursing Center in Lenoir, after a 20-year illness with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born April 21, 1949, in Foscoe, to the late Ray and Flora Fox Aldridge.
Ms. Triplett attended Valle Crucis Elementary School and Cove Creek High School and was a former member of Watauga Baptist Church.
She was a former kindergarten aide in the Caldwell County Schools and retired as assistant manager from Hardees in Lenoir in 1984.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hudson, where she was faithfully cared for by her church family.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise Sexton and husband, Hal, of Thonotosassa, Fla. and Tammy Woodie and husband, Dwight, of Newland; one son, Patrick Triplett and wife, Michelle, of Lenoir; five grandchildren, Emily and Melanie Sexton, Benjamin Woodie and Meredith and Zachary Triplett; one sister, Julia Jaynes and husband, Albert, of Newland; and one brother, Ronnie Aldridge and wife, Patricia, of Foscoe. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Aldridge and Roger Aldridge; and a sister, Jacquelyn Aldridge.
Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Hal Sexton, the Rev. John Green and the Rev. Randy McCall.
Burial followed in Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
