Lewis Woodrow Williams, Sr. passed away at his home on Friday, December 25, 2015. He was the son of the late Willie Woodrow and Doris Williams. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife: Thelma L. Williams; son: Michael Williams; sisters: Faye Phillips, Ollie Bell Rast and Velma Vernon; and a brother: Willie Williams, Jr.
He is survived by children: Lewis Williams, Jr. (Sue), Deborah Shealy (Donnie), Sue Sharpe (Jeff), Anthony Williams, Lynn Williams (Cindy), Vivian Peeples (Jerry), Patricia Owens (Eddie) and Teresa Sharpe (Michael); siblings: Willie Mae Chavis, Rita Jeffcoat (Clyde), Shirley Furtick and Patsy Reed (Glen).
Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with burial to follow in Olympia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 AM prior to the service.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
