Florence M. Downs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, December 25, 2015 at her home. She was 88 years old. Florence was born May 23, 1927 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Henry Ducharme and the late Sarah Ducharme (nee - Hipple). She is the beloved wife of the late William H. Downs Sr; mother of William H. Downs Jr., Patrick Downs and his wife Nancy, and Janet Louise Texidor and her husband Eduardo; grandmother of Eduardo Texidor, Patrick Downs, and Nancy Downs; great grandmother of Joey Ramos, Nicholas Downs, and Kirstin Downs.
Florence was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. She was a graduate of Simon Gratz High School. Florence was a Spot Welder for 25 years with H & H Fluorescent until her retirement in 2006.
