Lamar Henry Adams, age 90 of Kempner, TX died Friday December 25, 2015 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. Lamar was born January 1, 1925 in Kempner, TX the son of Arthur Carl Adams and Trudy Victoria (Smith) Adams. He grew up in Kempner and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Lamar farmed and ranched up until summer of 2015. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Kempner, TX.
Survivors include son, Art Adams and his wife Michelle of Round Rock
2 grandsons; Tony Adams and Jennifer Matt Adams and Keri, and
Great-grandson, Kaden.
Lamar was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Juanita Burks Adams and by his 2nd wife, Lela Mae Adams and by his parents, by an infant daughter, Hope Lane Adams, by 2 brothers, Melvin and Hershel Adams and by his sister, Juanita Manning.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held Wednesday Dec 30, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Kempner. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery near Kempner.
