Maria Elouise Shupe, 68, of Boissevain, VA passed away Wednesday December 23, 2015 in Lerona, WV. Born in Pocahontas, VA she was the daughter of the late James Garfield Johnson and Rachel RosaMae Lawson. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Boissevain, VA.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James E. Shupe and one sister.
Survivors include one sister, Geraleen Harrell of Franklin, VA; two nieces Lisa Hamic of Franklin, VA and Sherrie Lucas of Linden, NC; and one nephew David K Tasker of Greenville, SC.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Rodriguez Funeral Home in Pocahontas, VA with the Rev. Reginald Blakewood officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA.
