Susanna is the daughter of Philippe Andrew and Sarah Catherine Lett Knecht. She was first married to John William Ladd on 21 Aug 1891 in Battle Creek, Calhoun, Michigan. After his death in 1906 she married Grant Osborne on 3 Jul, 1911 in Marshall, Calhoun, Michigan. They had one son, Grant Horace Osborne. With John William Ladd they had the following children: Edith Grace, Percivil, Margaret Eunice, Ruth Bernice, Merle Irene and Mildred A.
