Deloris Jean Salrin, 90, a lifelong resident of the Medaryville, IN area, died December 23, 2015 at her home in Medaryville. Deloris was born on November 16, 1925 in rural White Post Township, Pulaski County to the late Theodore and Grace Leippert Kain. Deloris was a graduate of Medaryville High School. She worked at the garment factory before her marriage to Charles Salrin on January 13, 1948 in Francesville, IN. After her marriage to Charles, she was proud to be a homemaker and a farm wife, often helping him on the farm. Charles preceded her in death on December 1, 1982.

Deloris was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Medaryville. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, creating crafts, dancing, and caring for her pets. During the past few years she enjoyed the lunches, company, and activities at the West Side Senior Center in Medaryville. Deloris was very generous, always willing to help others. She will b e dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM EDT Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel Medaryville, Medaryville, IN with Rev. Judith Doll officiating.

Burial will take place in White Post Cemetery, Medaryville, IN.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon - 2 PM EDT Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be given to St. John United Church of Christ .
