Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Morrison Memorial Chapel with Art Lynch, minister of First Street Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Leib Cemetery in Morse by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Jo Helen was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Levelland to N.L. and Toy Wood. On April 16, 1946, she married Frank Morton in Tucumcari, N.M.
She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Moore County since 1943. Jo Helen was a Church of Christ member.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Ben Covington and staff, Memorial Hospital emergency room and intensive care unit staff and Memorial Hospice staff.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; two daughters, JoAnn Green and husband Lance of Vernon and Sherry Robinett and husband John of Dumas; a son, James Morton and wife Whitney of Pampa; a brother, Nelson Wood of Cushman, Ark.; three sisters, Toy Moore of Weatherford, Sandy Wilbanks of Grandview and Ann Robertson of Meade, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Kenna, Jennifer, Tandi, Micah, Austin and Caden; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Second St., Dumas, TX 79029.
The family will be at 921 N. Maddox Ave., in Dumas.
