Milton has been described as a brilliant creative force and fireball by those who knew him well. In his eight decades on this earth, he blazed a bright trail, leaving his legacy on everything from the US Navy to the Young Democrats of D.C. to the Andrews-Brink Advertising Agency, and eventually to two of the best Italian restaurants the Triangle area has known – Mannella's and This Side Up. In the last 17 years, Milton's creative passions were fully realized in his work as a photojournalist for the The Shelby Shopper & Info and Rutherford Weekly, where he was able to tell the stories of the Cleveland and Rutherford County communities.
Milton's joie de vivre survives through his proudest achievements, his children and grandchildren.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas Emanuel Andrews and Anna Marie Mannella Andrews and his wife, Roberta Nelson Andrews.
Burial Sunset Cemetery, with Military Honors.
