Squadron A Cavalry reorganized for the World War as the 105th Machine Gun Battalion, 27th Division, he was assigned to Company C. Transferred, April 18, 1918, to 9 Company, 4th Regiment Motor Mech. Deployed to Europe, July 12, 1918. Transferred in France to the 706th MTC. Returned to the States July 9, 1919 and discharged from the service, July 18, 1919.
