Paul B. Wance, 79, of Mill Hall RD 1, died at Lock Haven Hospital on Tuesday March 23 1993 at 4:20 am.
Mr. Wance was a member of the Mill Hall Church of Christ. He worked as a custodian for Lock Haven University until his retirement in 1980. He previously worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps, Pennsylvania Railroad, Piper Aircraft, Neese Chemical Company, Draketown and American Chemical Company.
He was born in Rebersburg on September 16, 1913 a son of the late Israel G. and Minnie Bright Wance. He married Beatrice Schach Dessenberger who died on June 24 1982.
He was survived by one stepdaughter, Alma Lower, of Altoona one stepson; Dr. Ralph D Dessenberger of Mill Hall RD 1; three step-grandchildren one step-great-grandchild and one step-great-great-grandchild Graveside services were held at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, with the Reverend David A. Bock officiating. Burial was at the cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Dean K Wetzler Jr Funeral Home 320 Main Street, Mill Hall.
