For 47 years he was employed by the Ox Fibre Brush Company, and retired two and a half years ago. He was a devout member of Evangelical Lutheran church, and of the Men's Bible Class, No. 58, of the church Sunday school. He was also a member of the Chippewa Tribe, No. 19, Improved Order of Red Men, and of the United Fire Company.
He was a son of the late George C. and Elizabeth Gerlach Yinger, of Germany.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Sarah Virginia Yinger, he is survived by the following children: J. Edgar and Charles Glenn Yinger, Mrs. John Kolb, Jr., and Mrs. Leonard Kerchner, all of Frederick; Hubert S. Yinger, Washington; brother, George Yinger, and a sister, Miss Mary Gerturde Yinger, both of Frederick; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held at the M.R. Etchison and Son funeral home; interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
