Sarah/Sally Goss married her 1st cousin Ephraim Goss not Elisha. Sarah/Sally was the daughter of Ephraim & Anne Workman Goss. Her cousin Ephraim was the son of Ephraim's brother Frederick Goss (#3) and Sarah Elston Goss. Sally's parents were the first of the Goss clan to immigrate to Indiana Territory in 1810. Ephraim's parents, Frederick & Sarah Elston Goss stayed in North Carolina but several of their children joined other cousins going to Indiana between 1810 to 1830. There were a lot of Sarah's in this family.
