Early Life: Clyde "Mac" was born April 11, 1922, in Fairview, Idaho, the son of Joseph Elmer and Jennie Rae Durrant McLean.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: In 1943, he married Marjorie Nelson. Mac was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II. worked a variety of jobs over 63 years in the Bitterroot Valley, to include: starting an excavation business, driving truck, operating a post and pole plant, small engine repair shop, blacksmith and tractor restoration shop. During his time in the valley he built seven new homes.
