FRANKLIN JOSEPH "Poncho" KEMPF, born November 13, 1913, entered into rest on Friday, March 7, 2003 at the age of 89.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Alma Lindsey, Dora Lutz and Clara Jungman. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rosalie C. Kempf; daughters, Barbara Hauck and husband Charles, Betty Tarver and husband Floyd; sister-in-law, Geraldine Wieters; brother-in-law, John Hunter; grandchildren, Wendy Elkins, Sharon Jungman, C.J. "Chuck" Hauck; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Frank was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved family outings and vacations on the Texas Coast and Lakes.

SERVICES Visitation will be held at 5:00 P.M., Monday, March 10, 2003 in the funeral home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 12, 2003 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church followed by Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. A Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to the St. Francis Nursing Home, 630 W. Woodlawn, San Antonio, TX 78212. Alamo Funeral Chapels.
