Mrs. Mary E. Bartholomew, 54, wife of Harry Bartholomew, former manager of the Muncie Water Works, died early Saturday morning at the Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J., after a brief illness.
Mrs. Bartholomew was born in Kokomo. She and her husband lived in Muncie from 1953 to 1958 and had lived here previously during the 1930's.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert H. Bartholomew of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Grant Garritson of Elkhart; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Meeks Mortuary. Dr. Harold E. Neel will officiate and entombment will be in Elm Ridge mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday or before the service on Wednesday.
