Preceding her in death are her parents, Dewey and Letie Adams; six brothers, Harley, Nim, Charlie, Oscar, Paul and James Allen Adams; one sister, Allie Wells; and one daughter, Kitty Grigg.
Eveleen had a natural green thumb, and loved to work with her house plants and outdoor flowers, enjoyed cooking, gardening, and singing in the church choir. She was a homemaker and had babysat several special children. Special thanks from kids to their dad, Dell, for calling and checking on mom and visiting along with cousin, Zeva, who called her regularly. She had very special nephews, nieces and a sister-in-law that checked on her. Her prayer was that her lost family members would give their lives to Christ before it's too late along with her grandchildren that smoke that they'd quit so as not to endure a disease such as emphysema or worse.
The family would like to extend thanks to moms caregiver, Shannon Messer.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Hoover Church of Jesus Christ. Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
