Age 97 passed away on December 15, 2015 in Madison, Wisconsin.
She was born in Fredericksburg, Iowa on February 24, 1918- the second child of parents Ernest Earl Dutcher, Sr. and Eva Amanda Perry Dutcher.
When she was five months old, her parents moved the family to Parrish Junction, Enterprise Township, Oneida County, Wisconsin, where she grew up. She attended school in Enterprise from first through tenth grades. She attended Rhinelander High School her junior and senior years, graduating in 1935.
After high school, she attended Eau Claire State Teacher's College, graduating with her 3-year Upper Elementary certificate, in 1938. That Fall she began her teaching career in East DePere where she taught sixth, seventh and eighth grades (departmentalized) for four years. She continued her teaching career and her further education at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Earl, Sr. and Eva Amanda Perry Dutcher; and infant sister, Darlene; a sister, Evelyn Rice; three brothers, Arthur, Harold, and Rodney Dutcher; and a young granddaughter, Amanda Allen.
