Mr. Eubank served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Gordonsville United Methodist Church. Buddy owned and operated Eubank Electric in Gordonsville and went on to work for Ron Martin Appliance in Charlottesville and Woodson Appliances in Ruckersville. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed many outdoor activities including, hiking, gardening, birding and traveling the world.
He is survived by one son, Jeff Eubank and wife, Karen of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Kathryn Gordon and husband, Barry of Gordonsville, and Janet Brehmer and husband, Chuck of Bumpass; two sisters, Marie Norton of Gordonsville, and Doris Carol McCray of Cuckoo; seven grandchildren, Grace Gordon, Graham Gordon, Charlotte Brehmer, Rebecca Brehmer, Greer Fawley, Colsen Eubank, and Palmer Eubank, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Watson Eubank; and a sister, Kathleen Murray.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the Gordonsville United Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Townsend and the Rev. Sue Ann Salmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
