Carol Ann Gilbert, 64, of Ottumwa, died at 5:53 p.m. December 6, 2015, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born August 2, 1951, in Ottumwa to Ryle Ira and Karen Joyce McClure Bradley. She married Fred Gilbert on October 11, 1986.
A 1969 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Carol graduated from Indian Hills Community College with a degree in horticulture, and then graduated from Southwest Texas State.
She had been a registered respiratory therapist for Ottumwa Regional Health Center, and for the last 24 years was the office manager at American Family Insurance.
Carol was a member of First Pentecostal Assembly of God.
Surviving are her husband, Fred; a sister, Linda Fears of Ottumwa; two brothers, Dan (Cathy) Bradley and Bill Bradley, both of Ottumwa; many nieces and nephews; her dog, Jake and her cat, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Julie Ann.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Pentecostal Assembly of God with Pastor Richard Schlotter officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
