passed away Tuesday October 6, 1998.
Mr. Jones was born June 20,1945, in Phoenix, Arizona to Mary Alice and Major Jones. He has been employed with the Texas City Police Department, Galveston County Sheriffs office and in the Precinct 7 Constables Office.
Survivors include his wife, Chen Jones; two sons, Thomas and Michael Jones; one daughter Nicole Jones; parents Mary Alice and Major Jones; brother, Richard Jones and grandchild, Taylor Jones, foster son, Robert Hughes.
Funeral services will he held Friday, October 9th, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of James Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. Burial services will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, Minnesota. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fifty Club, P.O. Box 59, Galveston, Texas 77553- 0059
